There are artists I listen to, and then there's the Internet.

At this point, I don't even know if "fan" is the right word. They're more like a personality trait. A lifestyle. A permanent fixture in my headphones.

No matter how many new artists I discover, I always find my way back to them. There's something about their sound that feels effortless. Cool without trying too hard. Smooth, dreamy, a little nostalgic, and somehow perfect for every mood.

Need music for a late night walk? The Internet.

Staring out of the window pretending you're in an indie movie? The Internet.

Romanticizing your entire existence for absolutely no reason? Definitely The Internet.

Their music feels like the kind of memories you haven't even made yet. Every song wraps around you like a favorite sweater. It's the soundtrack to overthinking, healing, falling in love, getting over someone, and looking cute while doing absolutely nothing.

And don't even get me started on Syd.

The voice. The vibe. The energy.

Everything about their music makes me want to disappear into a dimly lit room, put on my best outfit, and stare dramatically into space.

Will I ever shut up about The Internet?

Probably not.

Do I recommend them to everyone I know?

Absolutely.

Have they completely taken over my playlists?

Without a doubt.

At the end of the day, some people have comfort shows. Some people have comfort books.

I have The Internet.

And honestly?

I wouldn't have it any other way.

XOXO,

a girl who thinks every situation can be improved with a little bit of The Internet. ☁️๐ŸŽง๐Ÿค ✨

Some people wait all year for summer. Me? I'm counting down the days until September.

There’s just something about it. The golden afternoons, the crisp morning air, the feeling that life is about to get interesting again. September is basically the main character of the year. Summer may get all the attention, but September is the season of plot twists, glow ups, and fresh starts.

Maybe it's the leftover back to school energy, but every September has me convinced I'm about to become the best version of myself. New routines? Obviously. A perfectly organized planner? In my dreams. Romanticizing every coffee run? Absolutely.

This September, you'll find me:

☕ Grabbing iced coffees and pretending I'm the lead in an autumn rom com.

๐Ÿ“š Reading all the books I swore I'd finish during summer.

๐Ÿ Taking long walks just to admire the changing leaves and listen to my favorite playlists.

✨ Reinventing myself for the hundredth time because September practically demands it.

๐Ÿ•ฏ️ Lighting candles, journaling, and acting like I have my entire life together.

๐Ÿ’Œ Making new memories while holding on to the old ones that still make me smile.

☕ Cinnamon rolls a GOGOO.

There's a certain nostalgia that follows September wherever it goes. It reminds me of old friendships, first crushes, fresh notebooks, and that exciting feeling that anything could happen. It's bittersweet, but in the prettiest way.

So here's to Almost September filled with cozy mornings, spontaneous adventures, and little moments that feel bigger than they are.

Because if summer is the wild party, September is the chic after party where all the best stories begin.

XOXO,
A girl who will never stop falling in love with September. ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ’•✨ The Magic of Having Pen Pals ✨๐Ÿ’•

☁️ A little piece of happiness, tucked inside an envelope ☁️

There is something absolutely magical about having pen pals. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’Œ

In a world full of instant messages, quick reactions, and endless scrolling, a letter feels like a tiny treasure chest. Every envelope holds a story, a little piece of someone's heart, and a connection that feels wonderfully real.

๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒท

I love decorating letters with stickers, washi tape, doodles, and colorful pens. Sometimes I spend more time choosing the perfect stationery than actually writing! ๐ŸŽ€✨ There is something so charming about creating a letter that feels as cozy and unique as the friendship itself.

And then comes the best part...

๐Ÿ“ฌ The waiting.

Not the impatient kind of waiting, but the exciting kind.

The kind where you check the mailbox and wonder:

๐Ÿ’ญ "Maybe today?"

The kind where your heart does a little happy dance when you spot a familiar envelope with your name on it. ๐Ÿ’–

๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿซ–๐Ÿ“–

Pen pals remind me that friendship doesn't need to be limited by geography. One letter can travel across oceans, mountains, and continents just to bring a smile to someone's face.

Through pen pals, I've learned about different cultures, traditions, favorite foods, hobbies, dreams, and everyday life in places I've never visited. It's like traveling the world without leaving my desk. ๐ŸŒ✨

And somehow, even though many pen pals start as strangers, they often become friends who know your favorite books, celebrate your successes, and cheer you on during difficult days. ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ„

The thing I adore most is how intentional it feels.

When someone writes a letter, they slow down.

They choose their words carefully.

They share little moments from their life.

They think of you while writing.

And that feels incredibly special.

✨๐Ÿ’Œ✨

So here's to handwritten notes, colorful envelopes, pressed flowers, cute stickers, midnight writing sessions, and friendships that cross borders.

Here's to the people we've never met in person but somehow care about deeply.

And here's to the magic of pen pals, proving that sometimes the sweetest friendships begin with a simple:

"Hello, friend." ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿ’Œ Collect memories, not just letters. ๐Ÿ’Œ

๐ŸŒท Do you have a pen pal? Or are you hoping to find one? I'd love to hear your story in the comments! ✨๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒ

Let’s be so real for a second: my screen time report has historically been a jump scare. ๐Ÿ’€

Between the endless scroll, keeping up with everyone’s highlight reels, and letting the algorithm dictate my moods, I woke up one day and realized I was spending way more time consuming other people’s lives than actually figuring out my own. At 24, trying to navigate life, work, and figuring out who I am outside of what everyone else is doing is hard enough. Doing it with my phone screaming notifications at me 24/7? Absolutely exhausting.

So, I officially started an experiment yesterday and took a break from social media. I am right in the thick of it, and honestly? It’s already changing some things. ๐Ÿ•Š️

It didn’t happen overnight, but it definitely crept up on me. I noticed that checking my phone had become an unconscious reflex literally the first thing I did in the morning and the last thing I did before sleeping.

Even worse? I’d catch myself filtering my own life through a digital lens. I’d be reading a good book, baking something in the kitchen, or just going for a hot girl walk, and part of my brain would instantly be like, "Oh, this would make a cute story."

Wait. Am I actually living this moment, or am I just producing content about it? That realization kind of broke my heart a little. I felt like I was constantly rushing through my twenties trying to keep up with a pace that wasn't even mine.

I’m not going to lie, starting yesterday felt weird; that phantom vibration in your pocket is so real when you're breaking the habit! But I set some ground rules to keep myself sane:

๐ŸŽ€ ๐‘ถ๐’–๐’• ๐’๐’‡ ๐’”๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‰๐’•, ๐’๐’–๐’• ๐’๐’‡ ๐’Ž๐’Š๐’๐’…: I deleted Instagram and TikTok so I wouldn't mindlessly click them.

No scrolling before my morning matcha or coffee. Protecting my peace in the AM is non negotiable.

๐ŸŽ€ ๐‘น๐’๐’Ž๐’‚๐’๐’•๐’Š๐’„๐’Š๐’›๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’Ž๐’š ๐’‚๐’„๐’•๐’–๐’‚๐’ ๐’๐’Š๐’‡๐’†: Instead of watching other people do their routines, I’m actually focusing on mine, reading whatever book I’m obsessed with at the moment, putting on my favorite playlists, and just letting myself exist without needing to broadcast it.

Even just a day in, when you finally turn down the noise of the internet, it gets really quiet. And in that quiet, you finally get to meet yourself. Here is what is shifting already:

Turns out, cutting out the scroll gives you back hours of your day. I’m finally finding the mental space to dive deep into my books, try out new baking recipes, and just wander around without needing a destination.

  2. ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐’„๐’๐’Ž๐’‘๐’‚๐’“๐’Š๐’”๐’๐’ ๐’‡๐’๐’ˆ ๐’Š๐’” ๐’๐’Š๐’‡๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ: It is impossible to feel like you're "falling behind" in your twenties when you aren't looking at twenty different curated timelines every single day. Without that pressure, my goals are starting to feel soft, authentic, and completely mine.

  3. ๐‘ฐ'๐’Ž ๐’๐’†๐’‚๐’“๐’๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’•๐’ ๐’”๐’Š๐’• ๐•Ž๐•š๐•ฅ๐•™ ๐’Ž๐’š๐’”๐’†๐’๐’‡: This is the big one. Being in your twenties comes with so many questions about the future, your career, relationships, and who you're becoming. You can't scroll your way to the answers. Sitting in silence is forcing me to confront my own thoughts, figure out what I want, and trust my intuition.

Don't get me wrong, social media isn't the absolute enemy. I still love having cute corners online to share my reads, my aesthetic, and my random thoughts. But there is a massive difference between sharing a piece of your world and living inside an app trying to figure out who you're supposed to be.

For now, I'm just enjoying being offline, getting lost in a good story, and seeing what happens when I listen to my own voice first.

If you’ve been feeling that low key digital burnout, let this be your sign to close the apps for a hot second. The feed will still be there, but your peace, your time, and your relationship with yourself? Those are way too precious to waste on a screen. ๐Ÿค

Welcome back to the corner of the internet where I share the unfiltered pieces of my heart and life. Today is a little different, a brand new chapter for you.

I’ve never really talked about this here before, but I want to open up and share something deeply important for me : my journey with the hijab.

For those who are stepping into my world for the first time or wondering why I’m choosing to share this now, I wanted to lay it all out there. No filters, no rushing, just my truth.

The Beginning: Finding My Own Way

When people look at a hijabi, they often see a final destination. They see the fabric, the style, and the outward appearance. But they rarely see the internal foundation that had to be built first.

My relationship with the hijab didn't happen overnight. It was a deeply personal evolution a quiet conversation between Allah, my faith, my identity, and myself. Like any meaningful commitment in life, I needed to reach a place of complete clarity and readiness. I wanted to wear it not out of habit or expectation, but from a place of profound conviction and love for who I am and what I believe.

Deciding to take that step was liberating. It felt less like putting something on and more like finally stepping fully into my own skin.

What the Hijab Means to Me

People often ask what the hijab represents, and the answers are as diverse as the women who wear it. For me, it is:

  • A Symbol of Devotion: It is my daily, visible connection to Allah and Islam,  a gentle reminder of who I am and who I strive to be.

  • Autonomy and Empowerment: In a world that constantly tells women how they should look, dress, and present themselves, the hijab is the ultimate reclamation of my body. I decide what is public and what is sacred.

  • Inner Peace: There is an unexpected quiet that comes with it. The superficial noise of constantly chasing trends fades away, replaced by a focus on character, intellect, and soul.

Navigating the Nuances

Of course, living life fully balancing work, passions, and everyday routines means navigating the world as a visibly Muslim woman every single day.

Whether I am managing the fast paced flow of logistics at work, spending my weekends curating blog posts, or diving into my latest book club read, my hijab moves right along with me. It’s part of my identity in every space I occupy.

And just like anyone else figuring out their twenties, I am learning, growing, and styling it in ways that feel authentic to me. From everyday comfort to finding pieces that match my personal aesthetic, it’s a creative journey too!

To Anyone on Their Own Journey

If you are someone who is also contemplating your own path with faith, identity, or personal milestones, I want you to know that timing is everything. You don't have to have it all figured out today. Give yourself grace, honor your own pace, and trust your inner voice.

Thank you for holding space for me and for reading this. Opening up about this feels like letting out a deep breath, and I am so grateful to have this little community to share it with.

Let’s chat in the comments how have you navigated big personal milestones or identity shifts in your own life? I'd love to hear your stories. ๐Ÿค

My watchlist is officially judging me... ๐Ÿ‘€

I still haven't seen Odyssey or the latest Spider Man movie.
No spoilers, please; I'm trying my best to catch up! ๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿฟ
